Notes
Please read the following notes:
- Any dyeing/processing of small batches (under 500 metres) undertaken by Whaleys at customer's request is done so at customer's own risk.
- Samples should only be used as a guide, as variation between batches may occur.
- All qualities are usually available from stock.
- The qualities marked with an asterisk are prepared for dyeing and/or printing
- VAT and carriage / postage charges are not included.
- Lycra is Dupont's registered trade mark.
- Minimum order value £15.00
- Prices are subject to review
- Cash against pro-forma invoice on despatch.
- Once a fabric has been cut or further processed (e.g. washed, dyed, printed) no claims can be accepted.
- Contains Nylon
- All fabric widths may vary slightly between batches.
- We recommend this item is tested before dyeing and/or printing.
- Contains waste fibres. Dye testing recommended.
- A charge of £0.05 per metre will be made if rolling of fabric is required.
- Samples not included in standard range, available on request.
- Please note natural fabrics may contain small flaws which are part of the natural characteristics of the fabric.
- Due to the specialist nature of the yarns used in this fabric, there may be a darkening/alteration of the shade as the metallic yarn oxidises. The condition is exacerbated if the fabric is stored in a damp atmosphere.
- Any complaints must be notified within 10 days of the receipt of the fabric.
- Orders sent by post may not be re-sent in the event of a claim until 14 working days have elapsed.
- Deliveries made to a third party must be checked by the purchaser/third party before any processing/cutting takes place.
- London deliveries only: please note we now also offer DHL courier service to Central London to try and avoid delays in delivery.
- Due to cloth being tightly woven on conventional looms the delicate silk fibres are subject to bruising which may cause some slight weft bars to appear.
- When dyed will produce 'patchwork effects'. We recommend experimenting with dye results.
